The Team of Foreign Language Teaching Theory and Practice Research
Founded in 2019, the Foreign Language Teaching Theory and Practice Research Team consists of 23 members, including 1 professor, 8 associate professors and 14 lecturers.The team is mainly responsible for college English teaching and professional English teaching. The structure of the research team is basically reasonable,with a rational combination of the senior, middle-aged and young teachers, a mentoring program being set up to ensure that all young teacher can receive proper guidance in various research activities.
Based on philosophy, pedagogy, linguistics, psychology, sociology, combined with modern theories and teaching practice, the team conducts theoretical discussion and practical research on foreign language teaching and learning. Team members put forward their own academic views and practical methods, including the renewal of education and teaching concept, the reform of curriculum system, the reform of teaching content, the reform of teaching methods and means. The team aims to improve team members’ teaching ability, and encourages them to carry out reform or research on teaching concepts and models, curriculum construction, textbook compilation, teaching methods and means update, examination and evaluation methods, teaching resources construction and English ontology research.
