The Team of Country and Regional Research  

Established in May 2019, the Country and Regional Research Team of the School of Foreign Languages of Chongqing University of Technology has 14 team members who are proficient in English, Japanese, Russian, Korean and other languages and have been engaged in international Chinese education for a long time. This team is guided by Xi Jinping's diplomatic thought of great powers with Chinese characteristics in the new era, takes the economy, politics and culture of all countries in the world as its research objects, takes English, Russian, Japanese and Korean as its language tools, combines the current situation of international exchanges and cooperation in our school, and gives full play to the language advantages and subject background of team members. It focuses on Bangladesh, Ukraine, Russia, Vietnam and other countries in terms of language policy, cultural history, Chinese teaching and international communication. The purpose of this team is to serve the national "The Belt and Road" Initiative, meet the needs of major national policy consultation, build a research team with professional advantages and certain influence, and promote the formation of a new growth point of our university's scientific research work. At present, the team members have obtained three projects of "Country and Regional Research" of Chongqing Federation of Social Sciences and three related horizontal projects, completed one research report, published five related papers, and initially formed achievements on language policy, culture and education in Bangladesh.
