DU Yunfei

DU Yunfei is an associate professor and deputy director of English department at School of Foreign Language Studies, Chongqing University of Technology. As an English teacher, Prof. Du has long been engaged in teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL) and English for academic purposes (EAP). As a researcher, his research interests include computer assisted language learning (CALL), applied linguistics, and incorporating AI systems in international communications. He has been awarded three provincial projects and an university-enterprise cooperation project, and published more than 10 research articles and proceeding papers on academic journals of authority, which have been indexed by prestigious databases ranging from SSCI, SCI, EI and Chinese Core Journals. He also works as an anonymous reviewer for some highly ranked SSCI-indexed journals.

Currently, he is working on the affective states influenced by the symbiosis of AI systems and language learning, including engagement, motivation and adoption behavior. He also devoted himself to another issue how intelligent technologies would impact on the medium, mechanism and content in the context of international communications.
