ZHAO Hongmei

ZHAO Hongmei, an associate professor in the School of Foreign Languages of Chongqing University of Technology, master tutor, a director of Chongqing Foreign Language Society, a director of Chongqing University Foreign Language Research Association, and an executive director of Chongqing ESP Branch.

ZHAO Hongmei graduated from Sichuan University of Foreign Languages in 1994 with a bachelor's degree in English education; In 1999, she studied in the School of Foreign Languages of Southwest Normal University and obtained a master's degree in English language and literature; In November 2006 and January 2017, she was sent abroad twice respectively by the China Scholarship Council to study as a visiting scholar in the University of Missouri in the United States and the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom.

ZHAO Hongmei has been engaging in English teaching and research, with research interests in second language acquisition, foreign language teaching and research, and intercultural communication for nearly 30 years. Her achievements in scientific research includes 20 pieces of papers, 4 provincial and ministerial level projects (presided, and one key project), 4 textbooks, 2 major projects at university level (presided), and 8 provincial and ministerial level projects (major participants). She has been translating and polishing papers for SCI and has published more than 10 pieces of papers. She is a competent teacher with a professionally solid and theoretical foundation and strong scientific research ability.
