School of Foreign Languages of CQUT has a faculty of 97 people, including 83 full-time teachers, among whom 5 are professors, 34 are associate professors, one enjoys the title of “Young and Middle-aged Backbone Teachers” at both university and provincial levels, 8 are among the ranks of top-notch teachers in Chongqing, 3 selected in the CQUT training project for distinguished teachers, and 9 are rated as top-notch teachers of CQUT. More than 90% of the teachers hold Ph.D. or master’s degrees, and over 60% of teachers have overseas working or studying experience or obtain their academic degrees abroad. The dynamic and vigorous faculty continues to thrive.
